Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul are still waiting for the best offer to come around. The NBA All-Star players could perfectly fit in the roster and play with the Miami Heat. Both are great players and given a right chance could help the Heat on their quest to the championship.
Carmelo Anthony signed a deal with the Houston Rockets last summer after the waivers of the trade that moved him from the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Atlanta Hawks were cleared. He was traded by the Rockets to Chicago Bulls before the trade ended and he was later waived. With the Miami Heat looking to rebuild after the Dwane Wade era, Melo could be a great fit.
Meanwhile, Chris Paul was moved to the Oklahoma City Thunder through a trade that Westbrook to the Houston Rockets. So far, Chris Paul's future is still a hot topic. Chris Paul was part of the trade that reunited James Harden and Russell Westbrook.
NBA writer Steve Kyler said that while Miami has good players, they lack great players or if there are, they are already aging. This year, Miami strikeout in signing Demarcus Cousins and trading for Russell Westbrook they got Jimmy Butler through the NBA free agency. Rumors have it that the team is looking to get Chris Paul through trade.
The Heat is still looking to acquire Chris Paul via trade as his days in the Oklahoma City thunder is numbered. According to Heavy, a source inside the NBA revealed that Chris Paul will end up with the Miami Heat although until now the deal was not yet finalized. Additionally, a source close to CP3 told the site that Paul would also like to play for the Miami Heat.

Both Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul are friends of LeBron James and of team Jordan. It would be very interesting to see both of them play alongside and complimenting Jimmy Butler. Carmelo Anthony averages 24.0 points, 3.0 assists, and 6.5 rebounds. Meanwhile Chris Paul averages 18.5 points, 9.7 assists, and 4.5 rebounds.

Melo has almost two decades career in different teams including Rockets, Nuggets, Knicks, and Thunder. He can score in many ways and could really fit today's game. with the right motivation, both Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony could help the Miami heat achieve its goal in the upcoming 2019-2020 NBA season.
