Manny Pacquiao once again made history when he defeated Keith Thurman last Saturday night. But, Floyd Mayweather Jr's arrival at ringside triggered speculations that a potential Pacquiao-Mayweather rematch could happen soon. But CEO of Mayweather productions says otherwise and reveals interesting details about the Pc-Thurman fight and the Pacman-Money rematch.

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe instantly dismissed the possibility of a Pacquiao-Mayweather rematch after the Filipino boxing legend annihilated Thurman by split decision at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. According to Ellerbe Floyd was there because he wanted to witness the fight live and also because the Mayweather Promotions, his business, was one of the promoters of the fight. In his interview with Boxingscene, Ellerbe revealed that Floyd has no intention of entertaining the potential of fighting Manny Pacquiao in the ring again.

He also shared that if Mayweather is interested in fighting Manny Pacquiao once again, the fight between Thurman and Pacquiao would have never happened. Floyd, according to the CEO, would have never allowed Pacquiao to fight Thurman and instead fought the Filipino boxer himself. Many speculated that Manny Pacquiao's performance against the younger and unbeaten Thurman would give credence to a rematch with Mayweather.

A rematch between Pacquiao and Mayweather might not generate over $600 million in total revenue once again, but it would still be the most profitable PPV event in boxing. However, the CEO said that it is not all about money and Floyd is already filthy rich and very secure. Ellerbe added that Floyd was not surprised of the result of the Pac-Thurman fight and he could be a fan wherever he wants to be.

According to the CEO, Mayweather also told him that he was not surprised by Pac-Man's performance because that is what Manny Pacquaio do. Mayweather also said that it is much different when you are on the ring with Pacquiao, he may look little, but he is strong. Ellerbe also told the site that Floyd told him Pacquiao is awkward with fast feet and fast hands.

It appears that the Filipino boxer has already earned the respect of one of the greatest boxers in history. When Manny Pacquiao fought Keith Thurman last Saturday, he looked fresh, and any spectator could easily see that. It could be possibly because of working smart in his camp and getting the right amount of rest.

Manny Pacquiao erasing the undefeated record of Keith Thurman by defeating him in a 12-round bout and becoming the oldest welterweight champion in the history of boxing is a feat that only the Filipino fighter could pull off. And, regardless of the Mayweather-Pacman rematch happening or not, Pacquaio seems to be moving on with another fight in 2020.
