When Lady Diana had married Prince Charles just a few months after they had met, she was given the title of a princess and was officially crowned Diana, Princess of Wales. However, a shocking 750 million people all over the world who tuned in to one of the first televised royal weddings in the decade had named her the People's Princess.

However, the Princess of Wales may have won over the hearts of millions of people outside the palace, but she has made quite some enemies within royal ranks. One of them was the late Princess Margaret, the Countess of Snowdon.

The scandalous behavior Prince Charles had shown while still married to Princess Diana had caused the People's Princess to spiral into a dark place, and the poor state of her mental health had begun to manifest in disorders such as bulimia. Princess Diana had been receiving tons of attention from the press because of this and is to date, one of the most photographed women of all time.

But, there was one other person aside from Queen Elizabeth II who hated how Princess Diana attracted so much media attention to the royal family in what was viewed as a negative kind of influence over the press.

Princess Margaret had reportedly hated Princess Diana's guts over the media attention she was getting due to the state of her marriage to Prince Charles, which had eventually ended in a bitter divorce. The Countess of Snowdon had disapproved of the way Princess Diana was handling her business in a very public way.

A lot of people were aware of the frosty air between Princess Diana and the Queen. However, it is a lesser-known fact that the Queen's own younger sister, Princess Margaret, had a strong dislike for the unconventional way Princess Diana had handled royal life.

Moreover, Princess Margaret was reportedly greatly opposed to Princess Diana's round of interviews when the latter's divorce with the Prince of Wales had been ongoing. For Princess Margaret, Diana had publicly embarrassed the royal family for admitting in a highly publicized interview about how her marriage was in shambles.

The Queen's late sister also had a strong reaction to Princess Diana's popular words about Prince Charles' affairs which have rung out even after she passed on; she told an interviewer that their marriage was a bit crowded because there were three people in it. Those lines had just added to the fire of Queen Elizabeth's and Princess Margaret's hatred for the People's Princess.

Princess Margaret was well known for holding grudges. But what people did not know was that she would take that one to the grave. During Princess Diana's funeral, members of the royal family had bowed down to her coffin. However, Princess Margaret had barely given the nod in the direction of the casket.
