The Huawei Mate 30 Pro is still a few months away from its scheduled release window. However, just like any other upcoming smartphones, the upcoming device is also the favorite subject of rumors, leaks, and speculations. A new leaked image surfaced online today revealing the specs, design, and even the camera features of the upcoming smartphone.

Serial leaker named Ice Universe shared on his official Twitter account a new leaked image of what appears to be the protected films of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. In addition, Ice Universe also disclosed that the upcoming smartphone would have a camera specs with a 40MP + 40MP + 8MP + ToF setup. Although the reliable leaker did not name the device, the configuration gave away that it is highly likely the next flagship device from the Chinese smartphone maker.

Currently, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro utilizes a quad-camera setup composed of the main shooter with 40 MP f/1.6. It also comes with a 20 MP f/2.2 Ultra-wide angle lens and a 10x hybrid zoom capable telephoto camera with 8 MP f/3.4. Additionally, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro sports a 3D ToF o Time of Flight camera that is most likely the same as what the current Huawei Mate 30 Pro us using.

Aside from the upgraded shooter specs, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is also expected to introduce a brand new flagship Kirin processor. Rumors have it that the upcoming device might run on Kirin 985 processor or Kirin 990 that has a built-in 5G modem.

Ice Universe also shared images of Huawei Mate 30 Pro protective films. The leaked images reveal that the screen of the upcoming flagship device will have curved right and left edges. While it is no longer a surprise to those who are tracking the latest rumors and speculations about the upcoming flagship smartphone, the curve revealed in the protective images appear to be much steeper and larger compared to the recently leaked Samsung smartphones.

When it comes to design, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will still have the bi notch similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro series. In the past, there were several photos showing the reportedly front glass panels of the flagship device with a wide range of sensors placed at the top part of the device. Ice Universe just revealed two more images supporting those previous claims.

The Huawei Mate 30 series is highly anticipated to be officially announced before 2019 ends. Most likely, it will happen after Apple and Samsung already announced their series of flagship devices. The current version of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro sports a super zoon functionality through the periscope telephoto module. However, for the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro, it seems that the Chinese tech titan has prepared something more under its sleeve with the advancements in the camera sensor like the ultra-wide-angle camera.
