On Reddit, "Cyberpunk 2077" and CD Projekt Red's Lead Quest Designer Pawel Sasko discussed several details surrounding V's main quest and the game's story. According to him, the major goal of the development team at CD Projekt Red is to create a movie-live narrative for adult audiences. The lead quest designer added that the game is packed with themes of mature content that are most of the time avoided by many video game makers.

He added that although these subjects are usually avoided in modern culture, they will not be discouraged from touching it in the game. In fact, the lead quest designer stated that they would like gamers to make their own decisions in "Cyberpunk 2077" in different issues, particularly those that are associated with morality.

Sasko also mentioned that "Cyberpunk 2077" will enable players to view things from various perspectives and with that they can expect that the game will rarely be a black and white situation. The lead quest designer added that their objective for doing these things in the game is to make sure that the players will always be at the edge of their seats.

Aside from these, V, the main character in the game, will be strictly associated with Johnny Silverhand played by Keanu Reeves. Additionally, his relationship with Johnny will define how the game will end. The main objective of V in "Cyberpunk 2077" is to be freed from the clasp of NC and find a better life.

Meanwhile the boss fights in "Cyberpunk 2077" will allow players to fight some of the most notorious and dangerous residents of Night City.
