Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly rejected a bid from Barcelona for Neymar, while Real Madrid showed no interest to include Vinicius Junior in a deal.

AS reporters Mario Cortegana and Fernando Kallas said that Barcelona offered PSG Philippe Coutinho along with 100 million euros, and the possibility of Ivan Rakitic's inclusion was also considered. As for Real Madrid, the Spanish club offered James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale, but PSG reportedly only wanted Vinicius.

The report noted that PSG is in awe of the young Brazilian player's conduct. Les Parisiens are heavily interested in signing the 19-year-old and are also considering to negotiate Nelson Semedo and Ousmane Dembele with Barca.

Jonathan Johnson and Julien Laurens of ESPN FS noted that Neymar has always been clear of his intentions to leave Paris Saint-Germain, saying that his future is unclear with the club. Fans of PSG no longer want Neymar on the club either.

According to PSG themselves, talks are advancing, and while there is no clear word yet where Neymar is going, it's clear as of now that he will definitely the French club.

In 2017, the Ligue 1 champions shelled out a world-record fee for Neymar, and they say that they would want to have the same value should they sell the Brazilian superstar. Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona have both expressed interest, with various reports claiming that each club is bettering their offers but want to maximize their returns in the process.

Both Real and Barca have already spend a lot of money on transfers, bringing in Eden Hazard and Antoine Griezmann respectively. In order to operate within their budgets, they would likely rather send players to Paris as part of their bid.

Neymar has a history with Barcelona, but that history could work against them as far as negotiations are involved. AS says that PSG is more interested in selling to Los Blancos, who happens to have a better relationship with the French club. However, AS conducted a poll regarding Neymar's move to Real, which have resulted to majority of fans not in favor of the transfer.

Neymar's relationship with PSG has soured as he continues to push for a move back to Spain. He was noticeably absent at PSG's opening game of the season against Nimes on Sunday, which saw several fans holding up signs telling the Brazilian to "go home."

The champions' 3-0 win came just a day after sporting director Leonardo confirmed that discussions over the Brazilian's exit are "more advanced." than before.
