The Cupertino-based tech titan is recently on a leaking spree considering that an Apple event is happening a few weeks from now. We heard the news about the iOS 13 Beta 7 that seemingly revealed the date of the upcoming iPhone event. A new leak today claim that the next-generation smartwatch from Apple or the Apple Watch 5 will come in a couple of versions, the titanium, and ceramic versions.
All year round, news and leaks about Apple Watch 5 are scarce, and if this is not a taunt, we get a couple of leaks all at once. Recently we heard that the next generation of Apple wearable might be announced in September. Today, a new leak reveals different casing materials that Apple Watch 5 will reportedly have.
The new leak assets courtesy of iHelpBR were discovered from the watchOS 6 beta. According to the latest discovery, the next-generation wearable from Apple will have ceramic casing and titanium casing. The assets, according to the report, were part of the initial Apple Watch setup screen animation, which looks like the back design of the Apple Watch 5. The assets also include the model type and the words, designed by Apple in California.
According to reports, the recently discovered Apple Watch 5 assets are clear references to the 44mm ceramic case and 44mm titanium case. iHelpBR also discovered analogous assets for the 40mm size model of Apple wearable. In February, reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared that the Cupertino-based tech titan might introduce a new ceramic design for its casing in the upcoming Apple Watch series.
We have already seen the ceramic Apple wearable when the Cupertino-based tech giant launched the Apple Watch Series 2 Edition variants. It was retailed at $1,299 and was further continued in Apple Watch Series 3. However, when the company released the Apple Watch Series 4 last year, the Edition variant was discontinued.

Speaking of ceramic, the latest Apple Watch models have a ceramic back. However, based on the latest leak, it seems that Apple will rediscover a new high-end ceramic model through the Apple Watch 5 this year. And it appears that fans should also expect for a new titanium model when the next generation wearable finally launches.
So far, it is not clear if the titanium casing material will replace the stainless steel or will be an alternative option for Apple Watch 5. Also, it is not yet clear if these new materials will be exclusive to the next-generation Apple Watch 5 or will also be available to Apple Watch 4 and several other previous Apple watches. Ming-Chi Kuo predicted earlier that Apple Watch 5 would have OLED displays.
