Rockstar Games and Take Two Interactive have been almost silent about the release of "GTA 6." The game has been the favorite subject of speculations and rumors even before it was officially confirmed by the game developer. However, it appears that fans have found a new clue to finally claim that Rockstar might soon announce the much-awaited title "Grand Theft Auto 6."

The new rumor of a potential "GTA 6" came from Rockstar Games itself when the studio made several major improvements to their studio in Edinburgh in Scotland, the Rockstar North. This particular studio is the place where the primary development of the "Grand Theft Auto" series originates. Since the official release of "Red Dead Redemption 2," the façade of the building has been adorned with a massive poster of the cowboy-themed game.

The poster features Arthur Morgan, The main protagonist of "Red Dead Redemption 2." For months the poster has been there with the phrases outlaws for life that passersby can easily see. However, the massive banner was photographed being taken down from the front building of Rockstar North. This sparked rumors that the game developers could be on its way announcing "GTA 6" or another new game.

Fans believe that the announcement could be about "GTA 6" or "Bully 2." But, it is also possible that the removal of the poster on the Rockstar North is not connected to any announcement or releases from the gaming studio. It could be about removing the banner to allow more light to get into the studio or might be a possible studio remodeling or redesign.

It can be recalled that a leak surfaced earlier this year claiming that the development of "GTA 6" started in 2015, but the production did not start until 2018. Since the next-generation consoles, PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Project Scarlett could launch next year; it could be sometime soon after the consoles' release that "Grand Theft Auto 6" comes out.

Also, if an announcement is coming, it could be related to "Grand Theft Auto Online" given its rise in popularity recently. But, of course, fans would rather hear news and speculations about "GTA 6" than any other announcements. It is worth noting that Rockstar Games releases have been a generation-defining.

This includes "GTA: Vice City" and "San Andreas." It was followed by "Grand Theft Auto IV" and "Grand Theft Auto V." Is Rockstar Games setting up the "GTA 6" or "Grand Theft Auto 6" to be the top title to dominate the next generation titles?
