Rumors and speculations surrounding Sony's next-generation console are rife online. Fans and tech enthusiasts have their own claims and configurations about the PlayStation 5. A new rumor surfaced online today stating that the highly anticipated gaming console from the Japanese company will have its full reveal in February 2020.

The latest rumor about the PlayStation 5 comes from YouTuber named Mystic. According to the channel, Sony's next-generation gaming console is getting a full reveal come February 12, 2020. The reveal will take place during the PlayStation Meeting. Several game publishers will be invited to the said event to unveil their respective titles.

Additionally, the YouTuber claims that among the titles that will be showcased during the PlayStation 5 full reveal are two of the most awaited titles. These are "Ghost of Tsushima" and the highly-anticipated PS4-exclusive sequel "The Last of Us 2." These games, according to the YouTuber, will run on Sony's next-generation gaming console.

It is interesting to note that the YouTuber failed to mention if "The Last of Us 2" and the "Ghost of Tsushima" are both PlayStation 5 exclusive titles or are also playable in other gaming platforms. But, like all other rumors, take this one with loads of salt and treat this with the utmost skepticism. However, there are some things that seem to align with the latest rumor.

The PlayStation Meeting could be feasible since Sony will not hold its usual PSX this year. Also, it can be recalled that the Japanese gaming console giant also held a PlayStation Meeting in 2013 and announced the PlayStation 4. The same strategy could be used by Sony once again in February 2020 to launch the PlayStation 5.

Despite the heaps of speculations and rumors, there are very few official details that we know about the PlayStation 5. So far, what was officially revealed for the next-generation console is that its CPU will be founded on the third generation AMD Ryzen Line. Additionally, the CPU will have eight cores of the latest 8nm Zen 2 microarchitecture.

It will also pack a custom variant of Radeon's Navi series GPU that will enable ray tracing support. This is the latest technique models the travel of light to replicate trivial interactions in 3D environments. The PlayStation 5 is yet to be officially unveiled by Sony.
