A number of rumors circulating around the football community claim that Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez, is currently under consideration for a transfer. It has been 18 months since the Chilean international's transfer from Arsenal to Manchester United, and his time with the latter has been rocky at best. Despite these rumors about Alexis being transferred, Dutch footballer Robin van Persie still raised him in high regards.

In an interview with BT Sports, Van Persie regarded Sanchez saying, "He has it all: he's fast, he can assist, he can dribble, and he can score. There is just a lot of negativity around him from fans and people who have opinions on social media."

The former Manchester United striker defended Sanchez over his critics claiming that the latter is not worth the money he is being paid for the level of performance he is bringing to the club. Sanchez has had one of his worst seasons ever with Manchester United, and the fans are asking for him to be better and get back to his former form.

In January 2018, Sanchez was at the center of one of the biggest transfer negotiations in recent memory. Two rivals, Manchester United and Manchester City, are vying to sign Sanchez from Arsenal. Sanchez eventually signed with the Red Devils and has been with the club since.

In less than two years, Sanchez has played for two managers in Old Trafford: Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Since his transfer, Sanchez has been in a completely different form compared to when he was playing for Arsenal. Some said that it was the pressure that got him, and may have continually drained his confidence. However, it is important to note here that Sanchez's entire stint with Manchester United has been riddled with injuries. He has been sidelined for a number of times because of these injuries.

Regarding Sanchez's status with Manchester United, several reports have pointed to a possible transfer to the Italian Serie A club Inter Milan. The finer details of the deal have yet to surface. However, there are reports claiming that Inter Milan already reached out to Sanchez and the Manchester United organization in order to show their interest.

If the deal pushes through, Sanchez will be reuniting with his close friend and former teammate Romelu Lukaku in Inter. However, signing the transfer deal means that Sanchez will have to take a pay cut.
