Google has done a great job hiding the upcoming Google Pixel 4 under wraps by releasing official details about the next flagship smartphone. However, this does not stop tech enthusiasts and insiders from constantly leaking interesting details about the Pixel 4 online. A new leak surfaced today showing interesting features of Google Pixel 4 including screen attention, motion gestures, recorder app, and Ambient EQ to name a few.

On YouTube, M. Brandon Lee showed a set of new images along with a hands-on video of the Google Pixel 4. The first look of the next-generation smartphone from the search engine giant features the device using the Soli radar chip. Earlier Google ads highlighted Pixel 4's capability to change songs by a waving gesture across the Soli chip, but the Motion Sense settings make the latest leak even juicier.

The video reveals the settings screens and all the Motion Sense features of the Google Pixel 4, which includes the ability to silence phone calls and alarms. Additionally, it underlines a third feature that uses the Soli sensor to sense when the user reaches for the device to display notifications and lock screen. This feature is called Ambient Display that displays the notification icons, time, and other information when the user is nearby.

The Soli sensor of Google Pixel 4 is going to be a big hit to consumers. However, several reports earlier claim that this feature will be region-specific. This means that it will not be available in other regions. According to reports, it will only be available in the US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, and other European countries.

Another YouTuber showed a video of Google Pixel 4 with the Recorder app. Although he did not open the app, its likely function is to record audio. If we are lucky, it might allow users to support screen recording with internal audio. Earlier leaks already showed the built-in recorder app, but it is not yet clear if it will be one of the release features.

The screen attention setting, on the other hand, is basically the same as the Samsung Smart Stay feature that keeps the phone awake while the user is looking at it. Meanwhile, the Ambient EQ setting is for the auto white balance adjustment of the display based on the lighting conditions. The video also showed the Display settings where a new Styles & Wallpapers is added just above the Dark mode toggle. This will most likely open the Google Pixel 4 Themes app that users can use to customize font, colors, icon shape on the device.
