Last summer transfer window, Real Madrid sealed five massive deals to overhaul its team. The new players came from various teams, all stars, and ready to restore the status of Real Madrid in European football. But, it appears that aside from Neymar, whom the club is also interested, Real Madrid is eyeing Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba to represent Santiago Bernabeu Stadium soon.

Real Madrid got Eden Hazard from Chelsea by inking a £90 million and Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt for a £54 million deal. The team also acquired FC Porto's Eder Militao for £45 million and Lyon's Ferland Mendy for £43.2 million. On top of that, Rodrygo agreed to switch from Santos for a £40.5 million deal.

While it appears that Real Madrid has a star-studded team, it seems that it is not enough. Several signs from La Liga this season reveal that Real Madrid still has big flaws in the club. To make the matter worse, the team suffered a humiliating defeat of 3-0 from Paris Saint Germain. Weakness in defense and in midfield are still dominant in the team, which, until now, is heavily dependent on Karim Benzema in terms of attack.

If Los Blancos would like to get back to the height of powers, more power will be needed, and this is an accepted fact within the team's decision-makers. And it seems that the team is ready for this through a transfer binge that could surpass the jaw-dropping £272.7 million deal on the five new players. According to B/R, several sources associated with the executives at Real Madrid claim Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe are on top of the list.

It can be recalled that the chase for Paul Pogba during the past transfer window was widely reported. However, influential personalities within Manchester United think that there was minimal discussion over the alleged switch to Real Madrid. But, it seems that this is going to change in the next 10 months as agent Mino Raiola is anticipated to be more persuasive in moving the United midfielder.

Reports are claiming that Manchester United is already pushing negotiations over a new deal with Paul Pogba with his latest one until 2021. However, several sources claim that Pogba is not interested and is eyeing to be a part of a team which challenges major titles. And, Juventus and Real Madrid appear to be the best fit for the 26 years old midfielder.

Real Madrid boss Zidane is in hot water right now, but, so far, Paul Pogba is going to be Real Madrid's priority come 2020. Kylian Mbappe coming to Real Madrid could also be a game-changer. But, it is still 10 months away from the next transfer window, and many things could still happen.
