Arsenal boss' Unai Emery is on the receiving end of harsh criticisms recently. Several publications reported that the Spanish football manager is struggling to wield authority in the Gunners' dressing room. Additionally, his tactics are now being questioned and he has been accused of many things.

According to reports, Unai Emery is right now having a problem exerting authority in the Arsenal squad. The Gunners have not won one game in its last three matches and has thrown away its two-goal advantage to draw with Watford last Sunday at the Vicarage Road. Reports have it that the Spanish football manager called a team dinner right after the game against Watford and pressed his players to show solidarity after the team's devastating setback.

Additionally, the reports claim that Unai Emery struggled to exert any authority at Gunners while the players are displaying a lack of discipline. Moreover, it claimed that factions and cracks are currently starting to show within the Arsenal dressing room. Meanwhile, Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles insists that the team should have abandoned the coach's instructions during their game against Watford.

The 22 years old English footballer also questioned Granit Xhaka's assertion that Arsenal was scared during their second-half defeat. It appears that Unai Emery's camp failed to create an impressive transfer during this summer's transfer window and an inspiring start to the latest campaign. After winning against Burnley and Newcastle, Arsenal was well-beaten at Anfield and even dropped a couple of points at home against Tottenham.

Unai Emery's side has caused its own failure in its game against Watford in the second period. They attempted to play out from the back thereby constantly inviting pressure. This tactic backfired in an amazing fashion when a pass from Sokratis Papastathopolous allowed Tom Cleverley to drag Watford back into the game.

Granit Xhaka, anticipated to be one of the Emery captains this week said that none of his teammates was willing to shoulder responsibility in the second half dominated by Watford. However, Maitland-Niles does not agree with Xhaka's version of the action but thinks Arsenal could have been streetwise enough to mixed up its own game plan. In an interview, the Arsenal midfielder said that no words can describe how he is feeling about it.

Maitland-Niles said that he doesn't think that the team was scared and believes that the team played the way they played. He also noted that they should have changed it instead of sticking up to the plan of playing out from the back.
