Jordan Fisher, the newest cast member of To All The Boys I've Loved Before 2, hints that his character will stir up the follow-up film. Marked for a February 2020 release on Netflix, Fisher will play Lara Jean's long-time love, John Ambrose McClaren, in the sequel that is also officially called To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Fisher dished just how much his character is going to shake things up in P.S. I Still Love You. The actor said that since his character has been a "somebody" in the life of Lana Condor's character. Even if Lara Jean has Peter Kavinsky (played by Noah Centineo), John Ambrose will still be a dominant part of her life.

"I think what she goes through -- recognizing how important John Ambrose was to her and how he was her first love and he was the first letter that she wrote, there's so much that comes back in a blink of an eye for her. That alone shakes everything up," the actor explained.

Fisher described his character in P.S. I Still Love You as the type of guy most girls dream of ending up with. He's a charming person with a good head on his shoulders, which means that the fans of this teen film will likely fall in love with him as well.

According to executive producer Matt Kaplan, they auditioned thousands of young actors to spice up the follow-up movie. In the end, they picked Fisher because of his immense likeability.

But, Fisher has hinted that viewers should not get too attached to John Ambrose. The actor won't confirm whether he's going to be back for the third movie, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean, which Netflix has also commissioned and it's currently in production, as per See What's Next.

Aside from Condor and Centineo P.S. I Still Love You will also bring back Janel Parrish, Anna Cathcart, Trezzo Mahoro, Madeleine Arthur and Emilija Baranac. John Corbett will reprise his role as Lara Jean's dad. Fisher is not the only new face in the sequel as the P.S. I Still Love You has brought in Sarayu Blue, Holland Taylor and Ross Butler in the cast.

Netflix confirmed that To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You will begin streaming on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020. The first movie, on the other hand, is still on the platform so fans have plenty of time to re-watch.
