A new report suggests that Neymar will soon leave Paris Saint-Germain not for Barcelona, but for Premier League giants Manchester United. The Brazilian and the English club has reportedly agreed on a €230 million deal.

The report comes from Spanish news agency Don Balon, who has claimed that Neymar was left disappointed and felt that Barcelona had lost interest in him. The 27-year-old thinks that the Catalan giants did not try hard enough to sign him, leading to the decision to switch his attention to another club instead.

Don Balon's report also claims that Manchester United has agreed to pay Neymar an annual salary close to €50 million on top of his transfer fee.

It was widely reported that Neymar had lost interest in staying with PSG, citing issues with the club and its fans. The Brazilian forward had several disciplinary issues and bouts of injury, which resulted in him feeling miserable at Parc des Princes. It is understood that Neymar personally asked PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi to allow him to move back to Barcelona.

Neymar has always favored Barcelona for his next club, but it was also reported Real Madrid had offered several bids to sign the superstar. Both Spanish clubs failed to meet PSG's demands, however, leaving the player stuck in Paris.

During the summer transfer window, Neymar exhausted all his options to move back to Spain, but the huge financial terms put forward by PSG caused both clubs to back out, leaving him unsold.

It was also reported last week that United was willing to sign Neymar in exchange for Paul Pogba, who happens to be one of Real Madrid's target as well. The French footballer is reportedly keen on leaving Manchester United "in search of new challenges," based on his own admission in a recent interview.

It's clear, however, that a straight-swap deal won't be happening, given Neymar's high valuation of more than €220 million. As a result, it appears that the Red Devils are also willing to part with a transfer fee of €150million for the deal to take place. PSG is yet to make a final decision regarding the offer, reports the Spanish publication.

The Spanish news agency has also claimed that Neymar has only one year left with PSG before moving to Old Trafford. Until Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain confirms this news, however, this will all remain one of the Neymar rumors, which the superstar has been the target of since the summer transfer window.
