Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel believes that Neymar is "100 percent" committed to the club after the Brazilian successfully scored a later winner against Lyon on Sunday's match.

Neymar, who was widely rumored to make a comeback to his former club Barcelona in the summer, handed his side a 1-0 win at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

Tuchel praised the forward's recent goalscoring form despite his relative lack of match fitness.

"He's 100 per cent with us. He is 100 per cent in the group. He laughs, he is reliable, he is completely there with his team-mates. It's normal, it's necessary."

While the transfer window was still open, Neymar did not feature for PSG in August, but he has now bailed out of the team for the second week running following his impressive performance that beat Strasbourg 1-0.

Before firing past Anthony Lopes, the Brazilian superstar made his way through three Lyon defenders:

However, Tuchel believes that there is still more that Neymar can do.

"He can still do better," Tuchel quipped. The manager believes that the 27-year-old's physical capacity will see improvements. He added that the attacks toward Neymar had to happen in order to make the difference in one-on-one situations and difficult matches.

Fans of the Parisian club have expressed their disdain with the footballer, who in recent months was the target of jeers, chants, and banners to mock him. Neymar was booed by a section of home fans during PSG's previous league match against Strasbourg, having been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona during the close season transfer window.

If Neymar finds himself in the middle of exit rumors again, it wouldn't really come as a surprise. It appears that all he can do now is to perform his best and try to win back the trust of PSG supporters.

In all of PSG's 60 matches, Neymar has scored 53 goals and 29 assists. He should have no trouble winning the support of fans, that is if he stays fit.

A new report emerged earlier this week suggesting that Neymar will soon leave Paris Saint-Germain not for Barcelona, but for Premier League giants Manchester United. The Brazilian and the English club has reportedly agreed on a €230 million deal.

Until Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain confirms this news, however, this will all remain one of the Neymar rumors, which the superstar has been the target of since the summer transfer window.
