A few hours after the first beta for iOS 13.2 was released for developers, Apple rolled out the public beta software as well. This means that as long as you have an iPhone, you can now try the new Deep Fusion camera technology.

Those who have installed the beta already have some good things to say about Deep Fusion, and presuming you want to improve how your photos look like, you might as well partake in the beta right now.

Apple's description of Deep Fusion is quite sophisticated: "Deep Fusion uses advanced machine learning to do pixel-by-pixel processing of photos, optimizing for texture, details and noise in every part of the photo."

Now for the fun part: the latest iOS 13 beta also includes another preview that Apple might not have intended for people to see, at least not right now. However, it has been discovered that there is an icon deep into the 13.3 developer beta that may be pointing to the next-generation AirPods.

It's just an icon, so perhaps it's best not to read too much into it? But curiosity is not something easily defeated, and this one tiny detail is all it takes to get people talking about a new pair of AirPods.

Based on the glyph image, the new AirPods could come with interchangeable rubber tips. If this tuned out to be the case, it would address the common issue that owners of Apple's Bluetooth headphones have: one size fits all.

Code snippets referring to different listening modes are also hinted in iOS 13.2, including one that's called "focus mode." Keen-eyed Apple watchers have linked these modes into AirPods that come with active noise-cancellation, and with the addition of silicone and rubber tips, the headphones can be sealed better.

Now all these are merely analyses of people who are always onto deciphering Apple's next move, but if we look into what analyst Ming Ching Kuo previously said, the new pair of AirPods will have an "all-new design," and will launch either late in 2019 or early 2020. Kuo, by the way, has a solid track record of all things Apple.

Now Apple is reportedly considering another event this fall. Not to keep your hopes up, but there's a possibility we'll hear an announcement relating to AirPods by then.

That being said, if you're thinking of checking the beta out, you'll want to make sure that your device is fully backed up before you install a new iOS update of any kind.
