Prince Harry has gotten an unexpected makeover in a recent press coverage of his trip to South Africa with his wife Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. The Duke of Sussex's bald spot, which has considerably widened since his marriage, was noticeable touched up and photo edited to almost look non-existent in the cover of Us Weekly.

Journalist Tanis Fowler wrote this observation of Prince Harry's photo-edited bald spot in The Star. She wrote that the move seemed prudent as it was not the right time to upset royal family members after Prince Harry filed two separate lawsuits against two major British news outlets last week.

Prince Harry's bald spot was also the subject of Daily Star's latest coverage. Photos taken during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal visit to a South African mosque showed Prince Harry with a rather "conspicuous" bald spot. It had fans asking why the royal, like his brother Prince William, wasn't doing anything to correct this problem.

Fortunately, the royals are not self-conscious of this flaw, and Prince William even joked about it when his first child, Prince George, was born. The Duke of Cambridge joked that his son had more hair than him.

Bald spots, apparently, run in the family. Prince Harry noticed he was losing his hair like his father and brother as early as 2015. However, some royal observers speculated that marital stress and fatherhood might be causing Prince Harry's hair loss to accelerate at a faster pace.

According to Dr. Asim Shahmalak, a hair transplant surgeon at the Crown Clinic in Manchester, it's likely that Duchess Meghan has also told her husband to do something about his thinning hair, per The Sun. The expert said that as a former Hollywood actress, Duchess Meghan, knows the importance of appearance

Dr. Shahmalak also agreed that the baldness gene is quite strong in the British royal family. Prince Philip also has a prominent bald spot, which he has passed on to his sons and grandsons.

The expert said that it's not yet too late for Prince Harry to address his hair loss problems. He still has a good and thick area of hair that may be used as donor hair to cover up the bald spots if he agrees to a hair transplant procedure. Unfortunately, Prince William does not have this luxury anymore as the second in line to the throne has become completely bald.
