CyberConnect2, the game developer of "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot," along with game publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment, has been surprisingly quiet lately. Yesterday, however, several screenshots of Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku surfaced online along with Super Vegito. On top of that, Bandai Namco released a new trailer today detailing the open-world exploration and battles in the upcoming game.
The latest "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" trailer is titled Game Introduction and showcases the major battles, sidequests, and the game's open-world exploration. It highlights major fights of Goku and Piccolo against the Saiyan Raditz as well as the battle between Freeza and Son Goku. Right after the game was officially announced, Bandai Namco told fans that the upcoming game will retell the story of the fan-favorite Saiyan Son Goku and will provide more experiences through side quests.
The latest "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" trailer underlines that in most fighting games, they fail to capture the true strength of Son Goku's opponents. But in "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot," this will be more accurate. Specifically, there will be more enemies who will push the limits of the player and exceeds Goku's capabilities.
It promises to press more pressure on the player that the usual fighting games do not offer. Additionally, the new "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" trailer assures players that there will be dynamic battles on a massive scale, considering that rumors claim there will be no walls during fights. In terms of open-world exploration, the trailer reveals how players can spend time with allies, train, and gather food as Goku.
It is also worth mentioning that the narrator in the latest "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" trailer clarifies that the game is not only a strict open-world title considering that players will still have to follow the original narrative of the anime, "Dragon Ball Z." Players are also advised to keep an eye for more surprise reveals and announcements.

The latest "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" trailer also gives players a glimpse at edition bonuses in the last part of the video. Surely, CyberConnect 2 and Bandai Namco Entertainment have a lot more to announce before the game finally hits the stores. Will it have more filler content such as the Garlic Jr. Saga?
"Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" is scheduled to release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on Jan 17, 2020. Meanwhile, have a great time watching the latest trailer that Bandai Namco and CyberConnect 2 have prepared for excited fans of "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot."
