A recent "GTA 6" leak claiming to be the "GTA 6" Alpha Gameplay, is getting attention recently. The blurred video stemmed from the Instagram account gta6_leaks, which is now deleted. The footage appears to be taken in a hurry, and it is set in what seems to be the Miami's Art Deco District, which aligns with several leaks suggesting that the game will be set in Vice City.

However, the alleged leaked "GTA 6" alpha gameplay raises a lot of red flags, and various gaming sites believe it does not belong to the upcoming game from Rockstar. First, the Instagram account gta6_leaks has a not so trustworthy reputation when it comes to "GTA" leaks and news. Before posting the video, the account is known to spread fake "GTA 6" screenshots.

On Reddit, user lenlfc debunked the alleged leaked "GTA 6" Alpha Gameplay as well as the photo. The Reddit user traced the source of the video which is a product of overladed and cropped text to make it look like a leak. The photo was no more than an ordinary picture of the sign Welcome to Miami Beach. If the photo is fake, what does that mean for the video?

According to a report, the fake leaked "GTA 6" alpha gameplay is most likely footage of "GTA 5" for PC mod used to make the game appear unrecognizable. Additionally, the video is too short to reveal any gameplay details. It reveals the circular health, dead-eye rings, and stamina that are on the bottom left part of the screen just right above the mini-map similar to that in "GTA 5."

Also, the video has a lot of discrepancies if you compare it with previous Rockstar Games releases. The alleged leaked "GTA 6" alpha gameplay appears like "Red Dead Redemption 2" assets that were altered, copied, and pasted into a "Grand Theft Auto 5" game. Although it is possible that Rockstar Games could recycle some of the "Red Dead Redemption 2's" HUDs for the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto" game, it is not likely that the gaming studio would choose for a very similar arrangement.
