"Red Dead Redemption 2" is one of the highly anticipated open-world adventure games to arrive on PC. Rockstar Games officially released the game's PC version on Nov. 5, and surprisingly, we hear a series of complaints about a highly anticipated beautiful title. It appears that beyond the improved graphics and unique offering, players are currently experiencing many issues.
The issues picked up right from the beginning when the PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2" launched last Nov.5. Several players had encountered problems by simply getting the game to download and install. It appears that the download process continuously gets interrupted for no apparent reason with the Rockstar Launcher popping up a prompt if you wish to resume the download.

Following a series of "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC players' complaints, Rockstar patched the app on Nov. 6 to address the issues with downloading, installing, and booting the game. Considering the size of the game, the download issue is very frustrating. Aside from this, several other players are reporting that the game crash on their desktop with a generic error message from Rockstar Games Launcher saying that "Red Dead Redemption 2" exited due to unexpected error. But that's not all, "Red Dead Redemption 2" players also experienced an inexplicable stuttering issue that could make the game unplayable. Polygon's Samit Sarkar shared his experience with this issue. Every two minutes or so, the action totally freezes for several seconds, according to the writer. He adds that he stumbled upon the issue during gameplay and cutscenes.
