Riverdale season 4 episode 8 will arrive within a few weeks, with the title "In Treatment." Suits and Pearson star Gina Pearson appears in this episode as a guest star, and she'll be helping the teens of Riverdale to find out what's plaguing them.
In Riverdale season 4 episode 8, Torres will play the role of Mrs. Burble, the guidance counselor of the school. She's concerned that stress may be getting to the students, so she decided to meet Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica, and Cheryl to talk about what's plaguing them.
The students at Riverdale High need counseling as the seniors are waiting for college admission letters to arrive. So, Torres' Mrs. Burble will help them to cope with anxiety, especially since mysterious videotapes circulating the town of Riverdale stress them more.
The death of Archie's father, big reveals about the Jones family, the murder of Uncle Bedford, the release of Hiram, and the arrival of Charles put the teens under a lot of stress. So, Riverdale season 4 episode 8 will see Mrs. Burble helping them through a counseling session, which is necessary to understand deeper the students' issues.
It seems like the heart of this season's mystery is the videotapes, and the true villain is the person recording these tapes. We already saw Archie, Jughead, Betty, and Veronica dealing with the Black hood, The Farm, Gargoyle King, Clifford Blossom over the previous season and, this time, it looks like big bad is the phantom videographer.
Creepy videotapes popped up earlier this season, with the Core Four finding unmarked VHS tapes with hours of footage of their home. Every new character this season is a possible suspect. Dodger wants to bring Archie down, but he's in a coma when Jughead and Betty were being recorded.
Hermosa is loyal to Hiram, so she could likely pull something like this. But, some believe Charles is the person behind the videotapes, especially due to his connection to Chic, and his FBI skills make him the prime suspect. Or perhaps, there's someone out there who hasn't yet appear this season and secretly filming them.
Meanwhile, there will be no new episodes of Riverdale airing on The CW next week due to Thanksgiving. Instead, Riverdale season 4 episode 8 will air on Wednesday, Dec. 4, on The CW. The episode is directed by Michael Goi and written by Tessa Leigh Williams.
