A few days ago, a leaked document claimed that Apple would release iOS 13.3. It turns out the leak was accurate, and today the Cupertino company launches not only the much-awaited build for iPhones but also the latest updates on its other devices. Today, Apple rolls out iPadOS 13.3, macOS Catalina 10.15.2, watchOS 6.1.1, tvOS 13.3, as well as an update for HomePods.

Apple rolls out today the most notable update on iOS and iPadOS, which is the 13.3 build. The latest update brings another feature initially pitched by Apple as part of the iOS 13 but was delayed before the yearly update released last September, that is, Communication Limits in ScreenTime. With the latest update, parents can whitelist contacts for their children's accounts.

Through this, parents can restrict their kids from communicating with anyone not included on the list on Apple apps such as FaceTime and Messages. But, emergency services and calls like 911 are not included. The latest updates on the iPhone and iPad also feature new layouts for some publications in Apple News+.

Additionally, the iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 introduces a new interface for liking and disliking stories in News. It also expands on the news options as well as coverage in the Stocks app. The macOS Catalina 10.15.2 update, on the other hand, introduces most of these same Stocks and News features. It also restores the column browser view in Apple Music. Moreover, the latest macOS build adds Apple Remote app support for the TV apps and Music on Macs.

Meanwhile, tvOS 13.3 introduces a notable update for the latest Apple TV streaming devices. It features a new home screen redesign for video previews, including the change to the top-shelf content on the screen. In the past, Apple TV showed the user the next items in the TV app queue; now, it suggests a new content by showing previews and trailers. But, if you still prefer the old format, the latest build allows you to switch back through settings.

A new HomePod update arrives today that improves family members' voice recognition. It also enables family members to activate or deactivate personal requests. A minor update for watchOS also comes today. It features minor optimizations and unspecified bug fixes. The Cupertino tech giant also rolls out a security update for users of watchOS 5, who have no iPhone running on iOS 13.

All the updates Apple released today come with a wide range of security updates and bug fixes for their respective platforms. You can find all of these in the release notes.
