Several rumors about the 2020 iPad Pro have been making rounds online since last year. Even TFI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted the arrival of the premium tablet from Apple. A new set of leaks today seemingly confirmed earlier leaks about the 2020 iPad Pro.

Mini-LED

The latest set of leaks about the 2020 iPad Pro comes from reliable tipster Ben Geskin and from a supply chain. According to the leak, this year's iPad models would work with a new kind of special LCD panel. This is reportedly the earlier rumored mini-LED technology that enables LCD panels to be far brighter than the OLED panels available in the market today.

These details are based on the report of UDN Economic Daily, which reveals the manufacturing setup of the alleged 2020 iPad Pro. According to the report, Jiangdian, along with Innoplux, are working with the Cupertino company for the first time for the mini-LED 2020 iPad Pro lineup. Compared to the micro-LED, mini-LEDare smaller than the traditional LED backlight found in the current LCD panels.

It is a 1/100th the size of the LCD backlight and could offer 30x better brightness compared to OLED. Additionally, its size could allow Apple to release a slimmer or thinner 2020 iPad Pro because it takes up too little space.

Camera Configuration

A new leak from Ben Geskin shows the alleged case of the 2020 iPad Pro. Based on the images, it seems that the upcoming premium tablet would be equipped with two or three rear-facing cameras and an LED flash. The camera housing, which has a standard rectangular shape, is located on the top left part of the device's back panel. This leak seemingly confirms earlier rumors that the upcoming iPad Pro would sport three rear shooters.

Other Details

Earlier, TFI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the 2020 iPad Pro would sport an upgraded Face ID. The Taiwan-based analyst also said that it might house an A14X Apple processor. As for its release date, Kuo predicted that it might arrive in the first half of 2020.

While these details seem to align with earlier leaks and rumors, they are not guarantees that these would end up in the commercial version of the 2020 iPad Pro. It is possible that the case maker also based the specs on earlier leaks and speculations. In this case, we suggest taking these details with a good measure of salt and with skepticism.

We will keep you posted with the latest news and update about the 2020 iPad Pro as soon as we get a new one.
