BTS is known for breaking records after records. While the boys' hard work has finally paid off through these awards, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook always pointed out that they will never reach their success without the fans.
ARMYs are one of the most supportive fandoms not only in the K-pop world but in the whole entertainment industry. These fans would go far and beyond to show how much they love BTS, and they are usually the ones behind all the group's accomplishments and trends. The latest one that ARMYs are trending is the hashtag #YtBring67MBack.
BTS dropped its "On" Official MV at midnight of February 28 (KST). A little over an hour later, the music video of the title track of BTS MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 album surpassed 10 million views, breaking the "fastest time to reach 10M" record, previously held by BTS as well with "Boy With Luv."
With ARMYs' power and undying support, views for BTS "ON" Official MV continued to skyrocket. The total number of views displayed on the "ON" Official MV as of this writing was 49M. While this is already pretty impressive, fans alleged that millions of views were deleted overnight.
More than 90M views were reportedly deleted from BTS "ON" Official MV. Now, ARMYs are outraged and shared their frustrations on social media while using the hashtag #YtBring67MBack.
"Dear Youtube, I know deleting 67 million views (this was posted before the platform allegedly deleted over 90M views) is easy for you, but streaming is not easy. We gave time, efforts, sacrifices as fans, and we're trying to do out best for our boys," one tweeted. "We want our views back! Do you understand that millions of us sacrificed our work, school, sleep... Literally, everything, and you still have the audacity to delete 98 MILLION VIEWS?" another one wrote. "Ok, so we don't deserve this either the boys. YouTube delete yourself please," an ARMY posted. "Now I get it why @YouTube is literally one of the most hated apps on this planet," one shared.
BTS is not easily blinded by fame and statistics, so they are known for not really minding the numbers. However, ARMYs want nothing but to let RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook know that their hard work is very much appreciated by breaking records.
"We're not joking abt this, @BTS_twt worked so hard for this comeback and as always You*ube is deleting millions of views... we're not robots, our views are real and need to be given back! We're not staying quiet about this until you fix this #YtBring98MBack," one fan wrote.
