Last month, Samsung launched at the Unpacked event its flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S20 along with the Galaxy Z Fold, and the Galaxy Buds Plus. Just almost a month from the launch, a wave of leaks and rumors about the Galaxy Note 20 surfaced online. The latest leaks give us the set of features that fans could look forward to in the coming phablet device from the South Korean tech giant.

Latest Samsung Note 20 Official Name

Tech and gadget sleuth Ice universe is back once again, sharing information about the Samsung Note 20. The tipster posted a tweet stating, "Galaxy Note 20, Project C. While the tweet does not say much about the upcoming device, it is enough to allow the community to speculate about it. The consensus is that Project C could be the code name given by Samsung to Note 20.

Slashgear recently reported that the upcoming phablet might be officially called Note 20. Meanwhile, Sammobile revealed that the device has a model number SM-N981. The site also shared details about the storage size of one of the models of the device.

Specs and Features

The first leak about the Samsung Note 20 surfaced in Jan. 2020, which revealed its alleged framework design. The leaked image also underlined that the possibility that the Note 20 would feature the S Pen. An earlier report claimed that Samsung would launch three models under the Note 20 series.

The report claims that the variety would be similar to that of the Galaxy S20 series. But, the report has no more details about the varieties and their respective specs and features. So, at this point, it is difficult to say if there would be a Note Ultra model coming this year.

SamMobile earlier today revealed another interesting feature of the upcoming Note 20. According to the site, the Note 20 would arrive with 128 GB of internal storage. One site claims that it is possible that Samsung would equip the upcoming Note 20 series with a MicroSD slot that would supply the needed storage of the users.

PhoneArena toys with the possibility that there might be a Note 20 variant with smaller screen size. The site based its prediction on the fact that the Galaxy Note 10 was released with the base 256 GB internal storage without the MicroSD slot while the Note 10 Plus was released with 256 GB internal storage and microSD configuration.

At this point, nothing is official yet about these details. The Samsung Note 20 is anticipated to launch in Aug. of this year.
