Queen Elizabeth might not be the least bit disappointed she won't get to see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 10-month baby, Archie Harrison. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now back in London while their son reportedly stayed behind with the nanny in Vancouver, Canada.

But a royal correspondent claims that Queen Elizabeth is not likely sad about Archie's absence. Keir Simmons of the program Today said that Queen Elizabeth is not into babies, based on the biographies written about her. She has been described as a detached mother to her children while they were younger, especially Prince Charles and Princess Anne.

The Queen, however, has a better relationship with her children as adults. She is also known to be fond of her grandchildren. This fondness apparently extended to her grandkids' own kids.

Simmons also said that it makes sense not to have Archie around since no parent will bring a baby on a work trip. Prince Harry and Meghan will be mostly working upon their return to London, as they fulfill their last rounds of royal engagements for the Queen.

Prince Harry and Meghan have been criticized for not bringing their son along for Queen Elizabeth and even Prince Philip to see. Dickie Arbiter, the Queen's former spokesperson, said that the Sussexes are being inconsiderate and spiteful for not giving their grandparents chance to bond with their little boy.

Arbiter said that Prince Harry and Meghan have no excuse for what they did. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, who are turning 94 and 99 respectively, have not much time left. They will have fewer chances to be with Archie since the Sussexes will be based in Canada and the U.S. for half the time.

It's unclear why Prince Harry and Meghan decided not to fly Archie back to London. The baby hasn't been home since the family left for Canada on their holiday in November. Archie also hasn't been seen bonding with his cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The last time the kids were together in public was during a family polo match last summer.

Critics of the Sussex pair said that Prince Harry and Meghan felt humiliated that Queen Elizabeth disallowed them from using their titles after their official resignation as working royals on March 31. Thus, they have been accused of using Archie as revenge but Simmons doesn't agree with the speculations.
