Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer allegedly had an on-and-off camera affair while filming their iconic TV series Friends in the 90s. A tabloid alleged Schwimmer revealed it himself.

Friends fans have known that Aniston and Schwimmer's characters Rachel Green and Ross Geller, respectively, have an on-and-off relationship throughout the series. Rachel dated several other men in some seasons of Friends. But in the end, she and Ross confessed their love for each other. Apparently, that love also happened in real life.

According to Woman's Day, the co-stars have had a "passionate romance" for four years during the making of Friends. A source of the tabloid, who claimed to be involved in the production of the upcoming Friends reunion special, alleged Jen and David practically lived together for a while.

The two allegedly managed to keep their romance a secret from their other co-stars and production crew. The insider claimed Schwimmer revealed his past relationship with The Morning Show actress during a party but did not specify which event it was.

Woman's Day also claimed the duo's co-star Courteney Cox was upset with Aniston for keeping a secret from her. In her defense, Jen allegedly told Courteney that she felt guilty for years for hiding the affair from her best friend.

Then the source claimed the supposed couple split when things "started to get complicated." It was unclear why the relationship got complicated. Schwimmer was also "brokenhearted" when Aniston married Brad Pitt in 1998.

Gossip Cop checked in with Aniston's rep, who assured that the story was completely fabricated. The outlet noted that Woman's Day conveniently claimed the relationship lasted for four years since Friends started in 1994 and Jen tied the knot with Pitt in 1998. After that, the Murder Mystery actress was married to the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor until the show ended in 2004.

Gossip Cop noted that many tabloids are now capitalizing on the hype of the upcoming Friends reunion special and making up stories about its cast members. It was earlier rumored that there is a tension between Aniston and co-star Matt LeBlanc that is why the actor is hesitant to join the reunion. New Idea claimed the two have an "uneasy friendship" because Matt viewed Jen as "snobby and above it all."

There was also a rumor in the past that Aniston and Cox have abandoned their friendship with Matthew Perry. A source of the National Enquirer claimed Jen and Courteney are fed up with Perry amidst his struggles with sobriety.
