Sarah Ferguson is believed to be self-isolating with one of her daughters, Princess Eugenie. The Duchess of York is, reportedly, helping the frontliners in the United Kingdom amid the coronavirus outbreak. However, after he talked about the pandemic, she called out online trolls that are trying to pit Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle against each other.
The 60-year-old author, famously known as Fergie, blamed social media for giving the trolls the chance to show their "catty keyboard behavior" online. She told an Australian publication, as noted by New Idea, that this medium became a "sewer" where people had the guts to say what they couldn't say to others in person.
Sarah Ferguson stressed the importance of good manners and respect today. Sadly, the negative impact of social media results in a "girl versus girl mentality." She saw that the vicious and hurtful trolling is the reason why women are being pitted against each other, like Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. Her daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, are also subjected to online bullying.
Hence, Prince Andrew's former wife asked everyone to be kinder and think of anything that they will post on social media. She also encouraged people to call out any unacceptable behavior they saw online. "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all," she ended her message.
Meanwhile, Sarah Ferguson is believed to be self-isolating with Princess Eugenie at the Royal Lodge, Hello! Magazine noted. The two join hands to help the NHS workers by handing out sweet treats from her friend, Hermann Bühlbecker, a German confectionery entrepreneur.
The writer showed her gratitude to Bühlbecker by sharing a post on Instagram, thanking him for his support to the hard workers of the U.K. She showed a box full of sweet treats from him. Bühlbecker also posted a photo of Sarah Ferguson holding the box of goods, including a snap with Princess Eugenie, while they were unloading the crate from the back of a car together.
Bühlbecker revealed that Sarah Ferguson and Princess Eugenie received a "large delivery" of Lambertz pastries, over 100 kg. It was for the doctors and staff of London hospitals who are doing their best to save a lot of lives amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
This comes after Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, delivered care packages to NHS staff. The two were, reportedly, spotted driving through London to deliver the boxes of goods to frontliners of Hammersmith Hospital on two separate occasions.
