As the royal family took time to greet Queen Elizabeth on her 94th birthday last Tuesday, April 21, one member of the family was noticeably quiet. Princess Beatrice apparently didn't post a public greeting for the Queen but did she actually snub her grandmother?

According to Daily Express, the York royal has an official Twitter but she did not post a greeting for the Queen. Her sister, Princess Eugenie, honored their grandmother with a heartfelt birthday post in her official Instagram account.

Princess Beatrice's last tweet, however, was still in February. She made another post sometime in September of 2018, suggesting that she does not use her social media account as much as her younger sister.

Daily Express noted that the York princess prefer to keep it low profile, especially in this pandemic. She is believed to be currently isolating with her fiancé c in West London.

But just as royal fans have started noticing Princess Beatrice's absence from the royal spotlight, the York royal appeared in a Twitter post for the Arkell Dyslexia organization. She said in the video that the charity is still open for business despite the coronavirus lockdown.

"Yes, they are doing things online at the moment rather than face-to-face but their incredible team of specialists is here to help whenever you need them," the princess said. "Whether that is online courses, tuition sessions, or the online helpline, please get in touch."

Princess Beatrice's online presence marks the first since it was reported that her upcoming wedding to Edo on May 29 will not push through because of the coronavirus. A spokesperson for the couple said that while they are still looking forward to getting married, they also understand the risk of large gatherings especially in this challenging circumstance.

Buckingham Palace also cancelled the couple's wedding reception at the gardens last March, along with other royal events until the foreseeable future. Still, sources say that Princess Beatrice and Edo might decide to have a small wedding among some family members and a selected number of friends. Princess Beatrice's mother Sarah Ferguson said that her daughter has never been happier, despite the pandemic, to be with Edo.

This news comes as the United Kingdom has extended the lockdown until May. Positive cases for COVID-19 are high in the country and the death count is nearing 20,000 as of press time. The government has prohibited large gatherings and ordered the over 70 years old to take extra measures as they are most at risk.
