Kate Middleton has been repeatedly praised for her commitment and dedication to the British Royal Family. For almost a decade now, she has been noted as one of the most popular and applauded royals, just even next to the Queen.

But, when she first joined the Firm in 2011, reports stated that Buckingham Palace and some royal officials were concerned with her situation. As explained, many of them were said to have worries about a possible "repeat" of Princess Diana's story.

It is already common knowledge that the Princess of Wales' marriage did not go well. It even ended in a very "tumultuous" way because of the controversies and revelations that emerged.

According to Express UK, aside from the confirmed affair of Prince Charles and the then-Camilla Parker Bowles, not to mention the huge "age gap" between the Heir Apparent and Princess Diana, the late Princess' background was also accounted. It was said that she grew up outside the British Monarchy, which made her felt an "outsider" and "uncomfortable" upon entering the royal life.

With these factors at hand, several officials from Buckingham Palace reportedly compared Kate Middleton's background to the late Princess'. Given that they have a similar background of being a "commoner," this reportedly caused worries among royals and officials.

Royal experts and analysts then explained that despite this, they believe that Kate Middleton's marriage will not be a "repeat" of Princess Diana's. Katie Nicholl pointed out that the "worries" that the officials once had have caused them to improve things for the Duchess of Cambridge.

The royal expert went on to attest that it has appeared that adjustments were made for Prince William's life. It was also said that they ensured to make her feel "comfortable" all the time so history won't repeat.

Aside from making her feel welcome and comfortable in the royal lifestyle, experts also noted that they let the Duchess of Cambridge maintain her relationship with her family. This likely explains why Prince William has also a good and firm relationship with Kate's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton.

Another thing that makes the royal experts certain that the Duchess' marriage to Prince William will be very different from Prince Charles and Princess Diana's is that Kate Middleton never reportedly felt "alone," unlike the late Princess. As per Cheat Sheet, the Cambridge couple has become much closer as years pass by.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary inside Anmer Hall. They just also recently marked the birthdays of their two kids, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis amid the lockdown in the United Kingdom.
