There is little doubt that the members of MONSTA X are already veterans when it comes to dealing with fan meetings. After five years of being idols, the boy group has already attended hundreds of fan meets where they happily interacted with Monbebes. But what if the tables are turned on them? Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. just turned into adoring fan boys when they were allowed to attend an autograph session with MMTG's JaeJae.
MONSTA X were recently invited to appear on the latest episode of MMTG with JaeJae where the host asked them for some advice on how to act during a fan meeting. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. all offered some awesome tips like making sure to look the fans in the eye and being sincere. JaeJae certainly took the advice to heart and when it was time to do the fan meeting, the members of MONSTA X were also there to get her autograph. Not surprisingly, the idols acted just like Monbebes and at one point, Minhyuk even went as far as turning into a fan site.
The first MONSTA X member to get an autograph was leader Shownu who brought a special head massager to use on JaeJae. However, he was told that he wasn't allowed to touch the "idol". Luckily, JaeJae decided to instead use the head massager on him, which made him squeal in happiness. However, it was Minhyuk who took the whole fan boy thing to a different level.
Early on, Minhyuk kept taking photos of JaeJae while he was still lining up to meet his "idol" along with the rest of MONSTA X. However, he was repeatedly reprimanded as taking pictures was supposedly not allowed. When it was time to sit and meet JaeJae for an autograph, Lee Minhyuk immediately put a flower headband on his "idol" and made her wear a jelly ring, claiming she will marry him. Additionally, he tried to get JaeJae to put a heart on the front teeth of her smiling image in the poster she was signing for him.
Sadly, the MMTG manager wouldn't allow JaeJae to draw anything more on the poster as her message for Minhyuk has already exceeded 10 words. However, they did offer Lee Minhyuk the next best thing: JaeJae flashed him with her dazzling smile showing her front teeth, making him scream in delight.
Minhyuk later proved that he was the biggest JaeJae fan boy when he posted some of the photos he took from the MMTG autograph event. The images were posted on the official MONSTA X Twitter account and even resembled pictures taken by fan sites.
MONSTA X is set for a major comeback with the new album FANTASIA X, which will be released on May 26.
