On Twitter the industry insider shared a tweet reminding the industry that EA Motive is developing a "Star Wars" title that was not yet announced. Later, he shared another tweet suggesting fans of the franchise to watch out for the possible launch of the said title.
While Maison does not reveal any details about "Star Wars: Project Maverick," it is easy to assume that an announcement of such caliber should also be held at an equally grand event. Interestingly, the event falling on that same date is the rumored digital event dubbed as the PS5 games reveal. If this is the case, it also means that the upcoming "Star Wars" title is releasing on Sony's next generation gaming console.

Schreier also posted a tweet earlier teasing that someone is ready to announce a game, sharing a tweet from Motive Montreal. In Feb 2020, the former Kotaku editor shared an article revealing that EA canceled a spin-off title last year.
