There is little doubt that being an idol can be a tough job that includes tight schedules with barely any rest in between. Luckily for MONSTA X, their latest program actually allows them to take a break from all the hectic activities. However, the staff of MONSTA X Is Now On Vacation still has a few things for the idols to do. Not surprisingly, Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. are still trying their best to simply relax on the show.
The first episode of MONSTA X Is Now On Vacation aired on June 10 and it featured the members arriving at a traditional house in Mojeong Village which is in the Yeongam county at the foot of the Wolchulsan Mountain. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. were clearly impressed with their surroundings but were also wary of what their so-called "vacation" will be about. They immediately express their concern about having to sleep outside when they find camping tools outside the house. However, they also make their way into the house to discover a huge room where they could sleep for the night.
Soon, their doubts are proven to be for nothing. The members of MONSTA X realize that they are allowed to do anything they want freely. In addition to that, they have been provided with a market box that the staff will fill for them as long as they make a list. Interestingly, the staff even pointed out that the idols can ask for anything and it will be delivered for them. After that, the idols began to relax and decided to play a game of foot volleyball.
While setting up a net, MONSTA X soon discover that a tent has been left for them to set up. However, Shownu elected that they should move the camping gear out of the frame so they don't have to worry about it. Joohoney then proceeded to create a net made up of camping chairs for the game. The first pairs to play were Minhyuk and I.M. against Shownu and Kihyun, and it became clear that the idols needed a lot of practice.
At first, both teams could deliver a proper serve and their moves left Hyungwon and Joohoney breathless with laughter. Interestingly, things didn't improve when the other two members joined the game. After a few minutes, MONSTA X decided it was time to eat lunch and relax for the rest of the day.
