There is little doubt that Kihyun is one of the most amazing singers in the industry today. The MONSTA X main vocalist is known for his powerful voice that continues to draw in new followers to the boy group's fandom. Luckily, Yoo Kihyun isn't afraid to show off his awesome vocals. The idol has just unleashed a stunning cover of Imagine Dragons' 'Natural' and it's almost better than the original song.
It's no secret that MONSTA X is currently busy as they are promoting their latest comeback. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, and I.M. have been doing comeback shows to support their new mini album Fantasia X as well as its lead single 'Fantasia'. However, that doesn't mean that the idols don't have time to provide some awesome treats for Monbebes. Yoo Kihyun just recorded a new cover of the Imagine Dragons track 'Natural' and it's already attracting new fans of the boy group.
On May 31, Kihyun took to the official MONSTA X Twitter account to announce that he is dropping a new cover. The post simply read, "Tomorrow 10pm!!!!!" along with a photo of Yoo Kihyun at the studio. The image also confirmed that the song he will be covering is 'Natural'. Needless to say, Monbebes were excited for the new song from the group's main vocalist.
Not surprisingly, the video was a huge hit when it was finally dropped the following day. It was uploaded on the official Starship YouTube channel and has since amassed over 83,000 likes and over 300,000 views. Likewise, the upload on the MONSTA X V Live channel earned more than six million hearts. This isn't exactly a surprise considering that Monbebes couldn't get enough of Kihyun's powerful vocals.
Interestingly, Kihyun's cover of 'Natural' may have caught the attention of Imagine Dragons themselves. A fan had pointed out that the band's drummer Daniel Platzman has decided to follow MONSTA X on Twitter so could this lead to a possible collaboration between the two groups?
