Real Madrid is raring to resume play this month although they could gain better chances if all players are healthy and ready to go. One player who is back but unsure of playing is Eden Hazard. The 29-year-old winger was one of the notable figures back in training, showing that he has already recovered from a broken foot he sustained in a game against Barcelona.

Based on the observation of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois on Hazard, the Belgian football player is reportedly looking good. However, he understands that expecting Hazard to play once the season resumes remains a long shot. Considering he has gone through a rough first season with Los Blancos, it may be in the best interest of Hazard not to rush a return and expose himself to further harm, Goal.com reported.

Back in May, Hazard said that while he feels good to be back in training with his teammates, he is far from ready to resume playing. He admits that he still needs to work on his physical and ball work before taking the field once more via the team's official website.

Hazard being cautious is understandable. For someone who endured injuries to his ankle, hamstring and foot, it would be best to make sure that he is in tiptop shape before making an official return. This is something that Courtois is aware of. He admits that their run could get a big boost if Hazard is around but they may have to go through the remainder of the season without him.

"We can't expect him to be on top form without playing. I think he's in shape and we'll need him to fight for the title," Courtois said.

Zinedine Zidane is likely to be cautious as well. Having played Hazard extensively last time out, Zizou may not want to take another chance by forcing the Belgian to play. With only several games left, Zidane may opt to give other players a chance to show their skills. There will be other players Zizou can count on. Returning are Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema, the team's runaway leading scorer with 14 goals. Real Madrid is currently at the second spot of the La Liga table. They are just two points behind Barcelona. They resume their season against Eibar on June 14. Among the teams they have to deal within the next five weeks include Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Villarreal.
