Kate Silverton, an accomplished BBC broadcaster, may know why Kate Middleton is a well-loved public figure. The presenter, who has met and worked with the Duchess of Cambridge many times before, said that the wife of Prince William is a "clearly compassionate" person.

Speaking with Hello, Silverton said that she's really impressed by Kate, the future queen that will be sitting next to Prince William's throne. The BBC host said that she loves the Duchess of Cambridge for her inquiring mind and her approachable demeanor.

Silverton also said that it's easy to talk to the Duchess of Cambridge, especially about things she's passionate about. Kate comes off as someone who is kind to anyone she comes in contact with. The presenter praised the fact that Kate has been providing a significant role in many of her charities. A lot of women and children have benefited from the duchess' patronage.

It comes as Silverton and Kate are helping to raise awareness for Place2Be, the mental health facility for children, which has been in operation for more than 25 years. Volunteers at this site have been working with hundreds of schools across the U.K. to help and support families with children, especially under the new normal brought on by the coronavirus crisis.

Kate has been the patron of Place2Be since 2013 and recently, the organization has collaborated with Prince William and Kate's Royal foundation for projects relating to mental health and early intervention.  Since working with these organizations, Kate has been growing in confidence as a public servant, according to royal experts in the Heirpodpodcast. Her voice and presence within the royal family has been growing louder and more influential as she positions herself as the future queen.

But Kate is not immune to criticisms or bad press. Recently, the Duchess of Cambridge's legal team had to send a letter to Tatler for a cover story they did on the Duchess of Cambridge, which was, allegedly, filled with inaccuracies. The publication confirmed that they received the letter from Kate and Prince William's lawyers to take down their article.

However, Tatler's editor-in-chief, Richard Dennen, who is supposed to be a close friend of Kate, said that the palace knew of the story before it was published. They asked to work with some of the Kensington staff for the piece but Kate was, allegedly, not comfortable with the story stating she's furious at Prince Harry and Meghan for quitting their royal roles.
