Prince Charles has been greatly accepting of her daughters-in-law and, reportedly, gave them very expensive gifts when they married his sons. When Kate Middleton married Prince William in 2011, she apparently received a perfume from Prince Charles, which was valued at over $200,000.

According to The Blast, the perfume was so lavish that it holds the Guinness World Record for the most expensive perfume. It's apparently manufactured by Clive Christian and the bottle of perfume is aptly named Imperial Majesty.

Aside from the perfume, Prince Charles also gifted her first daughter-in-law with jewelry. Kate received a yellow and white diamond jewelry set, where the bracelet alone costs over $190,000 million, per Daily Express

The Duchess of Cambridge loves wearing this jewelry to her royal engagements. She wore it to her very first BAFTA Awards night and to a gala with the Duke of Cambridge and the Prince of Wales from 2012.

Prince Charles also showered his second daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, with a similar gift. When she married Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan received a diamond tennis bracelet valued over $50,000 and she also likes wearing this piece everywhere.

Needless to say, the Prince of Wales has a close relationship with his in-laws and the rest of his direct family members despite reports of a competition. He offered to generously help Prince Harry and Meghan for their first year apart from the royal family by shouldering half of their security cost in Los Angeles.

Recently, Prince Charles also said that he is missing his family, especially his grandchildren, while in coronavirus lockdown. Prince William's kids -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis -- are with their parents in Anmer Hall, while Prince Harry's son, Archie Harrison, is in Los Angeles, where the Sussexes are currently based.

Their grandfather said that he wants to hug his grandkids but he cannot do this due to the lockdown orders to prevent the spread of the virus. While he often talks to his family via video conference calls, the Prince of Wales said that a hug in person still feels different.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles also greeted his father, Prince Philip, on his 99th birthday on June 10 by posting a photo of himself as a young boy with his dad on Instagram. Prince Charles bemoaned that he hasn't seen the Duke of Edinburgh in a long, long time because of the isolation orders.
