Princess Charlotte's face-to-face class at Thomas's Battersea in London resumed on June 1 but the young royal continues homeschooling with her brother, Prince George, at Anmer Hall in Norfolk. Prince William and Kate are reportedly not keen to have Princess Charlotte back to school without her brother, according to royal expert Katie Nicholl.

In an interview with 9News Australia, Nicholl said that it would be "logistically challenging" for Prince William and Kate to send Princess Charlotte, who is in kindergarten, to school at this point. The young princess would have to be back in London, while Prince George and Prince Louis stay at home several miles away in Norfolk to isolate.

Nicholl also suggested that it would not be practical for the Cambridges to move back to London for the sake of having just one of their children in class. But if they have Princess Charlotte in London and the boys remain in Norfolk, then it would be problematic for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to juggle their time, along with their official duties.

The royal expert said that it's likely Prince William and Kate would let Princess Charlotte back to class only if Prince George's classes reopen. Currently, his year level (year 2) is still not part of the reopening schedule in the phased procedure and the school year is almost ending in a few weeks.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are also moving up to a new year level when they return to school in September. If they were to return to school this month before the school year ends, it could likely be to just say "hello and goodbye" to their friends.

This means, however, that Prince William and Kate will need to handle homeschooling for a little while longer. The couple has admitted that it has been a real struggle to guide their school kids with their lessons. Thankfully, however, their children's school has been very supportive of this online homeschooling process.

Prince William and Kate also have to involve their youngest, Prince Louis, who still doesn't go to school since he just turned two years old. During this lockdown, Prince William said that they have been baking quite a lot in the kitchen, with the kids attacking the flour. Kate also revealed that they've planted a tomato garden in their backyard in Anmer Hall and now the children are thrilled that it's almost as tall as them.
