Sony has essentially outed the make and details of the upcoming PlayStation 5 and what are known so far have left an earthshaking effect on the gaming community. But there more info about the PS5 to excite, and the latest tease came from game studio Insomniac Games, which declared that the hotly anticipated console is a game-changer in the making.

The endorsement from Insomniac was coursed through Marcus Smith, the game developer's creative director, who said in a note released recently that because of the premium hardware jammed with the PS5, the gaming experience will never the same.

Insomniac's next installment of "Ratchet & Clank" will be called "Rift Apart," and according to Smith, the game will feel real and allow players to explore spaces never seen before. This new treatment is made possible because Sony made no compromise on the PS5 hardware, WCCFTech reported.

The machine's SSD, for instance, allows for the creation of gameplay with fast-paced actions and with near-seamless transitions.

"The SSD is screamingly fast. It allows us to build worlds and project players from one place to another in near-instantaneous speeds," the report quoted Smith as saying.

Another plus for Sony's toy is the DualSense controller that Insomniac said will give gamers the actual sense of how powerful the weapons that will be made available for Rift Apart players. Smith shared that tests have indicated that the tactile feedback engineered for the PS5 controller should convince users that what they're doing is almost real.

The immersive effect is further heightened by the device's 3D spatial audio, which in the case of Rift Apart, will transport gamers to the middle of the forest.

Smith assured that due to the high-end SSD alone that will come packed with the PS5, everything would feel natural about the new Ratchet & Clank title. The loading screen will be a thing of the past, which should tell that Sony's bet is certainly a game-changer.

When exactly gaming fans will be immersed in the PS5 experience is still a guarded secret by Sony, although the company has already indicated that commercial debut of the device is timed for the 2020 holiday season. Leaks have come out that suggested reasonable pricing, which aligned with the hints dropped by Sony that the console will not be cheap but not out of reach as well.

Forbes said it should be safe to assume Sony will sell the PS5 at a price point not far from the expected tag of the Microsoft Xbox Series X. if the new Xbox will hit the shelves at $500 apiece, the Sony PS5 has to start at $550, which the report said will apply to the regular and the Digital Edition.
