Archie Harrison, the son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is apparently starting to walk. The baby, who turned 14 months on July 6, is said to loving his life in Los Angeles.

According to royal reporter Katie Nicholl, Archie Harrison is growing up to be a very happy little boy in Hollywood. The toddler is now trying to walk on his own in the Beverly Hills mansion where the Sussex family have been calling home since the middle of March.

Another insider shared that Archie Harrison has been talking since he turned a year older on May 6. He apparently loves to repeatedly say four words: "Dada," "Mama," "dog" and "book." The baby also relishes in a playtime that involves building blocks and hide and seek.

Prince Harry and Meghan are, reportedly, thankful that their time in lockdown in Los Angeles was spent watching Archie mark every milestones of his development. The baby's two buddies are his parents' pet dogs, Guy the rescue beagle and a black Labrador. The pups are said to be gentle with the Sussex's son and they make the little royal laugh. But Archie is also having Zoom playdates with the children of his parents' friends.

Nicholl also shared that Prince Harry and Meghan are still searching for a new house in Los Angeles that would be their "forever home" with Archie Harrison. They are currently staying at a property owned by producer Tyler Perry.

Meanwhile, one of Archie Harrison's godparents said that they had a Zoom call with the baby for his birthday. Daniel Martin, who has been Meghan's makeup artist for many years, shared that pals of the Duchess of Sussex checked in with the family when Archie turned one.

Martin said that Prince Harry and Meghan had a simple celebration for Archie's first year, which was still an incredibly happy time for the trio. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex originally planned to have a big party for Archie's first birthday but this was canceled in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry, Meghan and Archie Harrison were due to fly to London to be with Queen Elizabeth for her annual summer trip to Balmoral. It's unclear, however, if the trip will still push through considering the health risks, especially to the Queen. The family made their summer plans before they left London in January and before the pandemic struck the world.
