Cody Simpson is a picture of a happy boyfriend. He, recently, posted some adorable photos of him and his girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, along with a sweet message for the "Slide Away" singer.
Simpson shared, on his Instagram stories, a heartfelt tribute to Cyrus. The couple seemed to be off for a road trip as they were seen in the snaps on a car and dressed for a chill drive.
The Hannah Montana actress was wearing the new orange "Off The Grid" fedora hat from Gucci and a white Jean Paul Gaultier T-shirt, and glam herself up with a classic red lip. Cody, on the other hand, was sporting a black T-shirt and a pair of matching sunglasses.
Cyrus appeared to be taking the selfie as her arm extended outward, and she leaned into her boyfriend. Simpson was the one who shared the photos. He captioned it "I am in love with my best friend" referring to the woman sitting on his side.
Not known to many, the couple was close friends before they became lovers. In a 2015 interview with GQ Australia, Cody said Miley is one of my best friends.
A video of Simpson from February 2012, also, resurfaced when he was first rumored dating Cyrus last year. In the clip, the Aussie singer told Fuse that he was not only an avid fan of Cyrus but she has always been his childhood celebrity crush.
It is worth noting that Simpson's latest post wasn't the first time that he gushed about his girlfriend. Back in April when they celebrated their six-month anniversary, Cody posted a black-and-white snap of the "Malibu" singer along with the "I love you" message.
Cody Simpson, previously, dedicated a few poems to Miley Cyrus from his poetry collection, Prince Neptune: Poetry and Prose. The pair, also, spent time together in quarantine and even recently adopted a dog named Bo.
Miley Cyrus and the 23-year-old singer-model started dating in October 2019. It was after her month-long relationship with Kaitlynn Carter which started following her split from her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, in August 2019.
Over the past months, Simpson has, also, been very supportive of the "Wrecking Ball" singer. Cyrus, recently, revealed that she's been sober in the last six months.
A source told People Magazine that Miley is very happy to be with the Australian model-singer. Cody Simpson is said very much into clean and healthy living and importantly, he supports Miley Cyrus in her sobriety.
