"Grand Theft Auto 6" is nowhere near to being released though most are trying to comfort themselves with some credible updates. Unfortunately, Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have nothing much to offer although some gamers have been keeping tabs of their every move.

It appears some Reddit users have come across something huge, one that makes a lot of sense. A domain name registration for "GTA Vice City Online" was spotted by someone who goes by the handle of cmputerguy and a discussion about it can be found on Reddit. Some even had crazy suggestions, linking the name to "GTA VI." Others considered it a marketing ploy while others felt it was done by Take-Two Interactive since it was related to the "Grand Theft Auto" series.

Seeing however that most are awaiting the "GTA 6" location, it makes a bit of sense to link Vice City to the upcoming installment. It is a possibility most are discussing. The last time that the location was around was way back in 2006. This was the PSP release, "Vice City Stories" but there have been suggestions that the same location will be linked to "GTA 6."

Right now, seeing "GTA 6" use of Vice City makes sense. To recall, Vice City had a map with a lot of secret areas and hidden gems. Players had a rough go at it the last time it was used and most were pretty challenged by it. Not only would it be nostalgic to see "GTA 6" use that map again, but game developers could also enhance the experience and add more twists to the game. This means that both old and new players will have to skim through the map again and face old and new challenges plus rewards that could be heftier.

Right now, this is the closest update to "GTA 6" but most are advised to take it with a grain of salt. It could mean something or nothing. Take-Two could have other things in mind. But the fact that "GTA V" is having success with "Grant Theft Auto Online," it makes a bit of sense to prep up one for "GTA 6" at the least.

Lastly, it could be recycling an old map of sorts and enhancing it rather than coming up with an entirely new city or map. From there, less work would mean better chances of seeing the development of "GTA 6" progress better. Game developers can focus more on other aspects of the game and hopefully release a game with minor bugs - hopefully in a couple of years.
