A massive leak may have given away the actual look of the upcoming smartphones Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5. Search engine giant Google earlier unveiled the Pixel 4a and announced that the Pixel 4a 5g and Pixel 5 might arrive sometime in the Fall of 2020. While the company has not yet revealed the major details of these upcoming devices, a new leak may have provided their actual picture.
The latest leaked images came from a now-deleted post on Reddit. The image revealed what could be Google Pixel 5 in black color while the Pixel 4a 5G sports a white color option. The leak also comes with details about the upcoming handsets' specs, which appear to align with earlier leaked information.
Interestingly, both the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5 almost look identical in the leaked images. They sport almost similar designs, including the earpiece that acts as a second speaker—both houses the same square bumps and a punch-hole cutout for the 8 MP selfie camera.
The Pixel 5, however, is a few steps ahead of the Pixel 4a 5g. Unlike the 5G variant of the recently released smartphone, the Pixel 5 features a 90 Hz display, a bigger 4000 mAh battery pack, and support for wireless charging. The Pixel 5 also supports 5W reverse wireless charging.
Apart from those, the Pixel 5 features a glass back while the Pixel 4a 5G wears a plastic back. Whispers online believed that the Pixel 5 would feature a 0.5x wide-angle camera lens and a 12 MP primary camera. Meanwhile, the Pixel 4a 5G would reportedly feature a 3800 mAh battery and a 60 Hz display refresh rate.
Additionally, the Pixel 4a 5G would house a 6 GB of RAM and a 3.5mm earphone jack. Both upcoming handsets would reportedly feature a physical fingerprint reader in the form of a rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint reader. These details are unofficial at the moment; however, they align with previous rumors and leaks.
The Pixel 4a 5G would reportedly retail at $500 while the Pixel 5 might cost a little pricier. Meanwhile, reliable insiders 91Mobiles and OnLeaks also shared a new render of the Pixel 4a 5G. The new render looks a little larger than the photo shared on Reddit.
Again, it is worth mentioning that these images and specs are not official. Google has not yet revealed the specs of the Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. It is smarter to take this information with a pinch of salt.
