"Grand Theft Auto Online" might get a brand new UFO mission soon if the latest data mining activity is to be believed. In August, Rockstar Games rolled out a huge Summer Special update. It introduced a plethora of new content including new co-op missions, new cars and other minor changes.

Apart from this, recent changes, the Summer Special update also buried within "GTA Online," a secret mission that involves a massive UFO. This was recently uncovered through a data mining activity executed by popular game hackers known as The Game Files Gurus. Based on the discovery, this UFO is visually identical with the previous UFO model present in "GTA 5" and "GTA Online" game files for several years.

It is still unknown how players could access this new mission through usual means. Interestingly, The Game File Gurus were able to start the said mission on "GTA Online" using tools. As proof, the team shared gameplay footage of the alleged secret UFO mission in "GTA Online."

The team did not stop there; they dug further to know exactly why this huge UFO was included but hidden in the update. Several days later, the team uncovered a secret business battle mission that used the massive UFO model. This new business battle includes players getting into a secret military base called Fort Zancudo.

Players will find a huge aircraft hangar where the massive UFO model, alongside other spaceship components, are. "GTA Online" players need to steal and gather these and bring it to Omega. For the uninitiated, Omega is a "GTA 5" character who is very obsessed with aliens and UFOs.

Currently, there are no normal means available for those who would like to access and play this secret mission in "GTA Online." The data miners are not sure if the mission is active in the game or just deeply buried in the code. There is a chance that Rockstar Games would soon activate this secret mission so other players could enjoy it through the usual method.

The previous alien secret mission was only open to players who have completed 600 gunrunning supply missions. There is a chance that the secret UFO mission may have the same requirements as well. Data miners are still digging "GTA 5's" code for other valuable information about the game.

"GTA 5" is available in various gaming platforms, including PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The popular game would also release soon on next-generation gaming consoles' PS5 and Xbox Series X.
