Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi proposed to Princess Beatrice in September 2019. The couple officially announced the engagement weeks after the special event. While they faced countless controversies, not to mention the cancellation of their wedding, they still ended up marrying each other the way they wanted it to be.

Earlier in July, the couple secretly wedded on the grounds of Windsor. Reports said that they only had about 30 guests, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, and the York household.

Despite the sweet and joyful celebrations, the Daily Express claimed that the British Royal Family "left" Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi out of their royal traditions. This comes after the Royal Collection Trust's shop started a sale on the latest souvenirs of the British Royals.

The publication noted that most British Royals have their own personalized collectible items, which include cups, plates, and teapots. What makes them personalized is the royals' monogram printed on the items.

For Princess Beatrice, it includes the letter of her first name and a "coronet" above it. However, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's items feature a "bee" on them instead of a monogram. There are speculations that he chose the image as it represents his nickname for his wife.

Despite the sweet gesture, reports recalled that the Italian royal did not inherit a dukedom or an earldom from Queen Elizabeth upon marriage to the York Princess, unlike her cousins, Prince William and Prince Harry. But, it, reportedly, makes sense why his collectibles have a "different twist" on them.

As for the queries about the royal titles, a separate report from the Daily Express explained that Queen Elizabeth only grants dukedoms and earldoms to male royals. This is why her sons and grandsons, particularly the Wales royals, obtained their respective honors upon marriage.

The case is different, however, for the female royals, which applies to the York royals, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. When they married their non-British royal husbands, they are not eligible to inherit royal titles from the British Monarch.

While Edoardo and Bea did not receive titles after their marriage, Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, Edo's father, revealed that the York Princess will automatically inherit a title from the Italian royalties. He said that his son is the "only male descendant" who will take the family into the next generation.

He noted that the real-estate mogul is a Count, which makes Princess Beatrice a Countess in the Italian circles. Later on, their kids will become Counts or Nobile Donnas.
