Doria Ragland, the mother of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, lands a new job as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of an elderly care home facility in Beverly Hills.

According to Daily Mail, Ragland's new role at the Loving Kindness care center was made possible through the help of Meghan's lawyer, Rick Genow. The duchess' mother is also the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the company, per the official documents.

Source said that Genow does not usually get involved with facilitating deals like this. However, Meghan sought his help because she wanted to "keep things low profile."

Ragland quit her job as a mental health clinic social worker when her daughter married Prince Harry in 2018. Before this CEO job, she had been teaching an arts and crafts short courses in jewelry making at a Los Angeles community college. It's unclear if Ragland will still keep teaching at the college if she has a new and more demanding job at the home care facility.

Loving Kindness is a holistic care center, which has links to Buddhism practices. Meghan and her mother are both inspired by Buddhism teachings.

Meanwhile, insiders said Ragland moved in to the guest house of Prince Harry and Meghan's new mansion in Montecito to help raise their 17-month-old son Archie. She has been enjoying her duties as a grandmother by feeding Archie organic baby food and reading his favorite books.

Ragland has been Archie's "unofficial nanny" since the Sussex family arrived in California in March. Over the summer, drone photos apparently caught Ragland playing with Archie at the backyard of the Sussex pair's borrowed house in Beverly Hills. This invasion of privacy gave Harry and Meghan more resolve to look for a new house in California.

It comes amid reports that the Duchess of Sussex might be pregnant with her second child. Sources said that the Duchess of Sussex has been avoiding in-person appearances and public outings after August because she could be in a delicate condition. Fans also noticed that Meghan appeared fuller when she made her recent TV appearances.

According to Woman's Day, Harry and Meghan were seen leaving a Beverly Hills building after an alleged visit to a fertility clinic. Photos of the couple indicated that the Sussexes clutched IVF trigger shots.

Ragland is apparently "more than ready" for the new baby. Sources believe that an announcement will soon follow before the couple even tells Queen Elizabeth. It's protocol for the royal family to inform the Queen first before the public but this rule might have eased off since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer working royals.
