Amidst the current fiasco between Epic and Apple, there are still a lot of things to enjoy and look forward to in "Fortnite" and it looks like a new intriguing heavy weapon is coming soon in the popular battle royale title.
The most recent update rolled out by Epic Games on "Fortnite" offered dataminers access to a fresh set of files. One of these dataminers named MangOe claims he uncovered something important. On his Twitter account, the tipster shared that a new heavy weapon may be in the works for "Fortnite."
The dataminer shared an image of what appears like a combination of a Minigun and a Grenade Launcher. There is also a prototype mesh, which, according to the tipster, seems like a minigun without a barrel. Additionally, MangOe shared a text file containing the weapon's stats.
Several "Fortnite" players commented on the tweet and said that the file is not new and has been in the game for a while but just not being used. Others, however, believed that it is new, but the gun is existent in the game. Several others claimed that perhaps the leak is about a weapon that has had an existing file for a while, but it is only now that it is going to be used in "Fortnite."
When the minigun was introduced in "Fortnite," a lot of players were excited to get their hands on the type of weapon that fires almost the same as the SMG. Meanwhile, the Grenade Launcher is found on Legendary, Rare, Epic and Uncommon. Ironically, this weapon does not fire grenade but rockets.

The report also revealed that the top 10 games played online have been enjoyed by gamers for around 19.2 million years. Meanwhile, "Overwatch," "World of Warcraft," "The Witcher 3" and "Grand Theft Auto V" make up for the rest of the top five. Being at the top of the list, "Fortnite" has seen a worldwide success since its launch in July 2017.
"Fortnite' has been played for over 3.8 billion days, according to the report. So far, it has over 350 million players all over the world.
