"PUBG Mobile" tapped the popular K-pop group BLACKPINK for a special show match featuring its members and several other personalities like singer Kim Hee-chul and streamers BEENU and DdeuDdeu.

"PUBG Mobile" announced the upcoming event on its official Twitter account earlier today. The hit mobile shooter title is giving BLACKPINK fans the chance to see their idols play the game. The upcoming show would be streamed on the game's official YouTube and Facebook channels in November.

Earlier today, game streamer DdeuDdeu shared on Instagram a photo showing what seems to be a recent recording of the upcoming "PUBG Mobile" Fun Match gameplay show series. The girls of BLACKPINK along with Super Junior's Heechul and game streamers Beenu and DdeuDdeu are guests graced the soon to be released Fun Match.

In his post, DdeuDdeu shared his experience and mentioned that they took a quick group photo during the break. He also explained that Lisa is not in the picture because she left her seat when they took the photo.

In September, "PUBG Mobile" introduced the latest collaboration with BLACKPINK. The partnership introduced cosmetic items, new gameplay features, and the chance of sending in-game items to BLACKPINK members as gifts. It also launched several events to the hit mobile battle royale title.

"PUBG Mobile's" lobby music, visual, airplane, billboard, and even airdrop skin are all BLACKPINK associated. Lucky players also got the chance to win signed BLACKPINK albums by sending in-game gifts to Kim Jisoo, Lisa Manoban, Rosé Park, and Jennie Kim. The final stage of these BLACKPINK-themed events ended on Nov. 2.

"PUBG Mobile" did not immediately launch the fun match earlier, probably because it wants other players to get acquainted with the K-pop group. It masterfully released loads of in-game content to build the hype. To top it all, it revealed the in-game IDs of BLACKPINK's members.

Because of its massive success, the game is now amping the collaboration with a fun gameplay show. Unfortunately, there is no specific date for the "PUBG Mobile" Fun Match yet aside from the November launch window. It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the hit battle royale title gets a collaboration of this sort.

It can be recalled that "PUBG Mobile" also worked with the British-Norwegian artist DJ Alan Walker. The artist performed at the PUBG Mobile Club Open or PMCO Spring Split Global Finals last year and participated in a show match. On Nov. 2, the official Twitter account of the game already teased that something 'fun' is happening soon.
