miHoYo released in November the first major update of "Genshin Impact" and features a quest titled A Tree Who Stands Alone. It is a world quest that rewards players with lots of exclusive content and provides the game's expansion in plot lines. Here are some tips and tricks on how to complete the quest.
Unlock The Tree Who Stands Alone in "Genshin Impact"
You can start the quest by speaking to the ghost of Yuan Hong, who is present in Mingyun Village. You can find him beside the notice board. After you interact with him, you should move South towards a hut. Inside the hut, you should find the Lost Notes book; interacting with it will spawn four parts of the father's will.
Complete The Tree Who Stands Alone in "Genshin Impact"
The objective of this particular quest is to find the four parts of the father's will. To get all four parts of the will, you need to travel in 4 different directions in the village. Here are all the locations for the four wills:
First Will - For the first will, you should move towards the South of the hut in a cave near a pond. Walk inside to discover the will and another chest.
Second Will - The second will is found towards the East in a cave. It is guarded by three hilichurls. Killing them will reveal a chest, and the second will.
Third Will - The third will is located in the North. It is another cave with a hilichurl and three geo slimes. Defeating these will reveal the third will. If you have a water astrologer maid, you can swim through the water and avoid the fight completely.
Fourth Will - The fourth will is located inside a cave towards the West. It has two entrances, both of which are extremely guarded. Defeating the enemies found in front of the cave should reveal the fourth will.
Find The Treasure
After finding the last piece of the will, you will finally get the location of the treasure. The treasure can be found west of Mingyun Village, it should tell you the location on your map. When arriving there, be on the lookout for a large tree as this is where the treasure is located.
Once you have found this large tree be careful as enemies will spawn. When you have defeated these enemies, walk back over to the tree, and the treasure should be there. After you do so, you should receive a precious chest. The chest contains the following rewards: 300 Adventure EXP, 50 Prismogems, and Liyue Shrine of Depths Key
